Results March 7th All-Star Lanes & Grey Chevrolet Swiss Trios

We had twenty-eight teams show up at All Star Lanes on March 7th for the ALL STAR LANES/GREY CHEVROLET SWISS TRIOS. This was our twenty-eighth annual trios and eighteenth time that All Star Lanes has hosted this event.

The team of IDCNMP won 4 points the last game to clinch the title. They ended up with 43 points. The team was Don Allen (187.25), Paul Mann (189.92) and Nick Bachteler (245.75). Low to cash was 34 points. This is the first title for Don and Paul and second title for Nick. Congratulations to all of you.

The high game out of the money is determined the last game of the tournament. Jerky Smooth ‘N Smart shot 660. Bryan Cutler (227), Bill Brown (189), and Mike Ramey (244) each received a check for $80.

The KSBO would like to thank Jim Monahan from All Star Lanes and Brian VanWert from Grey Chevrolet for sponsoring this tournament. This is the thirteenth time that All Star has been our sponsor and the thirty-third time for Grey Chevrolet. The SWISS is always a big under taking and as usual All Star Lanes and their staff did a great job hosting this tournament. We look forward to next year.

I would also like to thank the board of directors with a special thanks to Nicole Hansen and Jo Genovese for all of their help in the office and with the brackets. I would also like to wish Bernie Boyd a speedy recovery. We can’t wait until she is back to full strength.

Congratulations to Tim Clemens who was the winner of the DV8 Thug that was donated by Brunswick. We appreciate their donations to our organization as these raffles help with our expenses which ultimately help keep the cost down for the bowlers.

Well, there are only two regular tournaments left before the finals. The next tournament is the DESIGNS UNLIMITED OPEN at Hi-Joy Bowl on March 21st. The 205 and under will be sponsored by MILLER CHIROPRACTIC. Check in will start at 10:30 with qualifying at Noon. The cost is $75 for open members and $60 for under members. The pattern used for this tournament will be the one used for singles/doubles at Nationals. Below is a list of bowlers who need either one or both of the upcoming tournaments. If you have any questions please call me at 373-3771. The tournament that follows Hi-Joy is the Champs/Non-Champs at All Star on April 11th.

There is a lot of money in the finals so I hope that everyone is planning to get their tournaments in to be eligible for the finals. Remember, if for some reason you cannot bowl you have the option of paying for the tournament. The cost is your entry less the lineage fee. Of course we encourage everyone to bowl but we understand when things come up to make it impossible to bowl.

SEE YOU AT HI-JOY ON MARCH 21ST!!
