Results November 1-2, 2014 Quad Swiss

Dear KSBO Bowler,

Nineteen teams (76 bowlers) turned out for the HI-JOY BOWL/ARTISAN TILE & MOSAIC QUAD SWISS which was held on November 1st and 2nd.

Going into the twelfth game there were four points separating three teams. 3 BALLZ & A SPLIT got two points and ended up with 47 ½ which was enough to win the tournament. The team was Ryan Jamrog, Skilur Lammi, Frank Showalter and Ryan Showalter. For Ryan Jamrog this is his third KSBO title. For Skilur, Frank and Ryan S. it is their first KSBO title. Congratulations to all of you.

The high game out of the money is determined the last game of the tournament. The RIGHT TURN team shot an 895. Jimmie Dillingham (255), Barb DeWitt (181), Chuck Ludwig (190), and Tom Anderson (269) each received a check for $80.

Three bowlers shot over 2800 for the tournament. Warren Cox shot 2814 and Tim Clemens shot 2819. However Dean Richards was high for the entire field with a 2832 which included a three game set of 290-279-234 for 803. In forty-two years we have had twenty-six 800’s shot by twenty different bowlers. This is the third one we have had shot this season.

The KSBO would like to thank D.J. Hoem from Hi-Joy Bowl and Kirk Gruber from Artisan Mosaic & Tile for again sponsoring this tournament. It was a great success and we look forward to doing this again next year.

Our next tournament will be our second trip up to Laurel Lanes. On November 15th we will be at Laurel Lanes for the LONGHOUSE MARKET & DELI OPEN. The 205 and under is sponsored by LAKESIDE INDUSTRIES. This is a regular singles tournament. The cost is $75 for open members and $60 for under members. Remember that this tournament starts at 11 AM. Check in starts at 9:30. Remember you need to bowl in each house once as part of your requirements towards the finals.

The tournament after this one is our Toys for Tots Doubles at Hi-Joy on December 6th. The cap is 416. Please get your entry in as soon as you find your partner. You can email me moc.elbacevaw|ffoea#moc.elbacevaw|ffoea or call 373-3771. That will be the final tournament before we take a short break for the holidays.

SEE YOU AT LAUREL LANES ON NOVEMBER 15TH!
